This is a cute problem, a relatively easy one, from Brilliant.org. For those of you who have stopped sharing the puzzles with children, might be a good idea to share this one, I think most kids can do this with some trial and error.
Each letter is a unique digit, and L is 0 (zero)
Find all the letters.
As always, please send your answers as comments within the blog (preferred), or send an e-mail to alokgoyal_2001@yahoo.com. Please do share the puzzle with others if you like, and please also send puzzles that you have come across that you think I can share in this blog.
Happy lettering!

R=7, E=9, D=4, H=3, T=6, A=8, O=1, F=2, M=5
Problem is cracked by solving for letter E which can only be 9. It also requires a carry over from the previous column implying R>=5.
R cannot be 5 as L=0 and cannot be 9 as E=9 which leaves 6, 7 & 8 as the only options.
Rest of the solution is hit & trial.
F- 2, A- 8, T- 6, H- 3, E- 9, R- 7, M- 5, O- 1, L- 0, D-4
